Permissions

A Permission tab on the role screen is a collection of security settings that one or more users share. Before creating a role, you can analyze the types of employees you have and decide who will need access to the software and what features/functions they would need. For example, your company may have 5 supervisors who all need access to the same functions. Instead of setting up each user and assigning these functions individually, you can assign them a role.

The permission screen will display the list of modules, along with a brief description. The following checkboxes allow you to provide access or restrict certain operations.

Note: To fully revoke users' View/Create/Edit/Delete permission, make sure they don’t have permission to View/Create/Edit/Delete and Edit Roles (Users > Roles). Also, make sure that the user does not have an Application Administrator role. If a person has the ability to edit permissions, they can (re) grant any permission.
